Pleskow Architects is seeking a talented and creative intermediate designer with 3+ years of experience to fulfill the role of Project Designer.  This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative studio environment on a variety of project types.  Established in 1993, Pleskow Architects is an award winning, progressive architecture and design firm led by Tony Pleskow, AIA. Candidates for the position must exhibit a strong design sensibility and a general technical understanding of  Type V & Type V over podium construction knowledge.  The candidate needs to be comfortable working directly with the principal and others in a fast-paced creative studio environment.  Strong graphic as well as written and verbal communication skills are critical.

Specific qualifications include:

• Accredited Professional or Graduate degree in Architecture with at least 3-5 years professional experience.
• Extensive knowledge of 3D modeling, presentation and design software:  Revit, Rhino, and Autocad are key.
• Experience working on complex projects with multiple variables in a variety of environments.
• Ability to draw and assemble construction drawings
• Ability to coordinate and integrate the work of project consultants.
• Skilled at multitasking and working toward multiple deadlines.
• Competence in working within a fast-paced, collaborative design environment.
• Ability to work under a Lead Designer to complete and augment an overall design direction.
