Lovett is seeking a talented Architect or Architectural Designer with three to five years of professional experience to join our in-house design team. You will work with a team of architecture, construction, and real estate development professionals in a variety of sectors. Our portfolio includes commercial and residential projects in a range of scales and phases from master planning to concept design, tenant coordination, technical design, and construction.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
Developing technical architectural drawings from concept design to construction documents
Completing design tasks such as programming studies, site planning, code research, material studies, space planning, and preparing concept presentations
Performing site visits and documenting existing conditions
Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and tenants on design projects and acting as an owner’s representative on construction projects
Preparing permit drawings, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and responding to permit comments
Reviewing shop drawings and submittals, responding to RFI’s, and managing construction administration tasks
Experience and skill requirements:
Architecture degree from an accredited architecture program
3-5 years of professional experience in the architecture field
Revit proficiency, with experience creating full drawing sets for permit and construction
Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, and 3d rendering software such as V-Ray, Enscape, TwinMotion, etc.
Familiarity with building codes, MEP systems, and fundamental structural design
Licensure or path to licensure is encouraged but not required
Experience with interior architecture and retail projects is a plus
