Position Overview:
Licensed Architect: Plans and develops medium- to large-scope projects with many complexities, executes and coordinates projects, and may oversee a technical design team. At times, this position will manage overall client projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans and develops projects of medium to large scope and works under minimal supervision.
Develops and represents lead technical viewpoint on projects.
Responsible for coordination of all design efforts, both internally and with consultants.
Responsible for organizing the format and content of drawings required at each job phase, and assigning tasks to the job team.
Collaborates with principals, project managers, and other team members to advance the design concepts.
Responsible for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments.
Involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope, selection of items for investigation, and development of concepts and methods.
Coordinates with Senior Project Architects and Project Architects on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies.
As needed, assist the Director of Marketing and Business Development, or Principal in
Charge with marketing related activities around the project, including development of proposals.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Architectural Degree
Registration as an Architect or Interior Designer.
Professional Certification (such as LEED AP, CSI, etc).
Ability to perform work as required, competence in the area of work willingness to perform well in many aspects of practice, and reliability.
Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States
