Moment X is an experimental design studio based in the Bay Area, California. We are architects, designers, and makers, ready to create the next special moment. 

We believe that the built environment should radiate the warmth of tactility and spatial quality. While buildings nowadays are no longer crafted but assembled, we are devoted to bringing back humanistic care and natural atmosphere to all of our projects. Our expertise range from residential, cultural, and commercial to institutional projects.  

In parallel with everyday practices, we endeavor to explore interdisciplinary research and introspective critique. We hope to facilitate theoretical discourse as the vehicle for designing more innovative and kind-hearted works that better serve the communities.

We are seeking a talented architectural designer to join our dynamic and growing team in the Bay Area. This position is an essential part of our design team and will be exposed to various project types from high-end residential, to commercial improvement, to conceptual competition projects. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other team members and generate designs 
  • 3D computer modeling (Rhino) 
  • Prepare and complete construction document packages
  •  Permit submission at the planning and building departments.
  • Communicate with team members and clients
  • Prepare RFQ and marketing materials 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Architectural Studies with great design sensibilities 
  • 5-10 years experience in architectural design
  • Excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Rhino modelling 
  • Proficiency in Revit is preferred
