Junior mid-level Interior Designer - Project Manager top duties and qualifications 

In our firm an interior designer, is responsible for running the project from design stage to construction and working with production team making sure all design details, budgeting and scheduling are being implemented properly. 

Duties include:

1- Ability to run the project from schematic design stage to construction documents. 

2- Ability to prepare design presentations and communications with clients

3- Ability to work with planning and rendering softwares

4- Upholding the use of quality materials and procedures

5- Adhering to budgets to complete tasks or purchase materials

6- Keeping clients and our firm updated on the progress of the project and to maintain the relationship with design team 

7- Executing requested tasks based on office's needs

Skills and qualifications

A quality Project Manager should be capable of managing a project from start to finish and allocating resources accordingly. The right candidate should have the following skills and qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good client relationship 
• Good interpersonal and supervisory skills
• Solid grasp of building compliance and safety regulations
• Excellent analytical skills
• Budgeting
• Decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle more than project at a time 
• Driver’s license is a plus
• knowledge of Autocad, Revit, Sketchup, Rhino and Google sheet
