MEYER DAVIS LOS ANGELES – Intermediate Level Designer

 Meyer Davis is a globally recognized design boutique specializing in luxury residential, hospitality, retail, and workplace environments.  Join the LA studio in a fast-paced office environment working for clients around the globe. We are looking for a capable, driven intermediate-level Designer to join the LA office full-time. 


  • Architecture OR Interior Design Degree and/or Background; LEED certification and NCIDQ a plus.
  • Experience with at least two of the following project types: Hotels, Condo Developments, F&B, High-end Private Residential.
  • 5-8 years of interior design experience preferred, having worked within all phases of a project through Construction Administration.
  • High level of experience in designing and specifying custom furniture for hospitality/commercial environments.
  • An advanced level of proficiency in interior design concepts such as space planning, furniture, fixtures, and product research.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, REVIT, SketchUp.
  • Must be based in Los Angeles (or willing to relocate).

 Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project team to deliver projects on schedule including but not limited to image research, developing presentations in InDesign, building finish palettes, illustrating our design in CAD/REVIT/SketchUp/Photoshop as needed.
  • Take a leading role in selection, specification and detailing of interior finishes and furniture for large or small projects.
  • Solid understanding of Drawing Sets, Interior Finish specifications, and FF&E specifications.
  • Great knowledge of products and industry sources.
  • Comfort in client facing interaction.

Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with longer hours as necessary to meet client deadlines and deliverables.

Work Environment: Work is fast paced and collaborative. Our office is located in a historic building in the heart of downtown with easy access to public transportation. Elevators and handicap accessible building and bathrooms. *Currently the majority of work is conducted remotely, with in office work occurring as needed.
