I am excited to be working with an established design firm with multiple locations in Illinois, who provide architectural, planning and interior design services to a diverse range of clientele. With a portfolio consisting of K-12 & Higher Education, Commercial & Wellness projects, they have a clear, creative and committed vision for all developments.

Currently seeking an Experienced Interior Designer to join their growing team, this is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop and grow in their field, taking strides into leadership and building strong relationships with clients and consultants.

This opportunity will also accommodate remote working within the USA.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Working on all stages of various projects, from early schematic design through to competition
  • Production of various drawing sets and packages, including FF&E, Design, Technical & accessory specifications
  • Assisting Project Architects with construction documents and technical drawings
  • Coordinating with vendors through furniture procurement process
  • Participate in production of bid, permit and documents, alongside assisting with interior and furniture punch lists
  • Carrying out presentations throughout all stages to clients, vendors and consultants

Candidates should have the following:

  • 5 - 8 years’ professional experience within Interior Design
  • Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in interior design or interior architecture
  • Experience in Public/Institutional or Educational projects
  • Proficiency in Revit & SketchUp required
  • Experience using AutoCAD and Enscape desirable
  • Ability to select and source furniture and finishes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
