MAKE ARCHITETCURE is a Los Angeles based, design-oriented office with a broad range of commercial + residential project types including award winning Retail, Restaurant, Bar, Performance Venue, Office, Hospitality, Single Family, Mixed Use and Multi-Family Residential. MAKE values exceptional design and strives to foster the knowledge necessary to execute it successfully within each member of our team. 

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to collaborate with the senior leadership, to lead marketing efforts in developing strategies for business development and opportunities for project engagement and communication to further MAKE’s visibility and reputation.  Pending the candidate’s qualification and desires, the role may incorporate office administrative and management responsibilities. Candidates may be considered for a full or part time position corresponding to the candidate’s capabilities and availability.  

Desired Skills and Capabilities

  • Refined graphic and design sensibilities
  • Well versed and skilled in verbal, digital and written communication
  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience working in a creative agency or design studio preferred
  • Prior marketing experience within design or architecture firm experience is a plus
  • Experience with Adobe Suite (especially InDesign and Photoshop)
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail

 Responsibilities may include:

  • Assist in proposal development
  • Maintaining active social media engagement
  • Lead the production of awards packages
  • Helping build the studio infrastructure for growth
  • Assist in developing business development strategies
  • Assist in developing media and marketing communications strategies
  • Identifying new growth opportunities and initiating targeted outreach
  • Write and edit content for proposals and other public communications
  • Coordinating PR campaigns for select projects
  • Pending the candidate’s qualification and desires, the role may incorporate office administrative and management responsibilities.
