BASICS: The ideal candidate has a “beginner’s mind”: they are enthusiastic, self-motivated, polite and kind. They are problem solvers with a strong work ethic. They understand the value of rigorous research, accuracy and iterative process in design. They have the ability of making connections and to work alone, as well as part of a team. They understand the culture of the office and its rules, while having the ability to innovate. They equally love Nature, the Arts and the Built Environment.

 ALSO, THE BASICS: Degree of BA/B Arch/M Arch in Design or Architecture is required as well as a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience (All phases of Design from Conceptual to Construction Documents, including familiarity with permit sets). Ability to research building systems and precedent case studies, material and product sourcing, graphic layout, interfacing verbally and in writing with clients, consultants and vendors, managing deadline-oriented production. Excellent digital drawing skills (proficient in Revit or/ArchiCAD, Adobe suite and PPT)

 TOPPINGS: The ideal candidate will also have experience in one or more of the following: Construction Details, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, compiling project specifications, processing documents with the Building and Planning department, preparing presentations for lectures/classes, model making, prototyping, creative writing, graphic Design, 3D-visualization.

Working experience or studies in associated fields will be considered as a plus (Production, Fashion, Engineering, Landscape architecture, Interior Design, textile Design, Art curation, Design Build, etc.)
