We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced BIM Manager to join our award-winning New York City based firm. Job Description:

·         Assist teams in the production of construction documents and maintain, optimize and improve the efficiency and accuracy of a BIM model through each phase of a project;

·         Coordinate with design consultants to integrate their design/documentation methodologies and to facilitate consistent and reliable transfer of information;

·         Model, manage, and optimize façade systems and families in Revit (parametric modelling, documentation, and scheduling of components).

·         Periodically audit projects and guide users through the learning process when dealing with BIM software complexities.

·         Develop and implement streamlined office BIM coordination workflows in collaboration with our current external team of BIM consultants.

·         Develop and implement office BIM standards in collaboration with existing BIM consultants.

·         Oversee and coordinate firm-wide Revit training provided by existing BIM consultants.

·         Assist in the management and standardization of a library of basic families and custom project templates based on firm standards.

·         Work with senior staff to further develop current Firm practices, standards, and tools to optimize efficiency and accuracy of BIM; and

·         Research and recommend related emerging design technologies and digital design practices for future integration.


·         6+ years relevant post-graduate USA architectural practice with experience pertaining to all phases of development and documentation (specialization in ground up, high rise, or mid-rise work preferred)

·         Professional architectural degree or master’s degree from an accredited institution.

·         Ability to accurately set up new Revit project files (Revit project origin, true north, levels, grids, etc).

·         Demonstrable advanced experience in Revit and related software including third party plug-ins (CTC experience a plus).

·         Demonstrable experience with façade modelling and documentation practice in Revit.

·         Interest and experience in emerging digital design and computation technologies and related software applications and practices (moderate proficiency in Dynamo preferred).

·         Experience of managing transition from CAD to Revit preferred

·         Additional knowledge of AutoCAD, preferred. Knowledge of AutoCAD/Sketchup/Revit interoperability a plus.

·         Strong leadership and ownership skills.

·         Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with consultants, colleagues, and management.

·         Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced and rigorous environment. Should be self-driven and goal oriented.
