Oliver Freundlich Design (OF/D) is a small high-end residential architectural and interior design firm with a studio in the heart of New York’s SoHo neighborhood.  Our work is defined by our commitment to an intimate design process in which we distill our client’s objectives and develop creative solutions tailored to the constraints and opportunities of the project.

OF/D is an inclusive, rigorous, and high-spirited studio with exciting clients and projects in New York, Long Island and Upstate.   We are seeking a Lead Designer/Project Manager to join our team.

  • Leadership, design, and management of residential projects from concept to completion
  • Development of work plans and project schedules including staffing and consultant coordination
  • Contributions to office standards, staff training and business development


  • Professional degree in architecture
  • 6-8 years professional work experience in all phases of the design and construction process for residential renovations and ground up construction
  • Examples of the documentation completed for high-end single family residential projects
  • Direct experience with client coordination, consultant coordination and managing teams
  • Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills
  • Willingness to work closely with a team through an iterative process
  • Fluency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe CS and MS Office

 OF/D offers a comprehensive benefits package to all full-time employees.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
