We are currently seeking a BIM Design Technology Manager to join our team. As a Design Technology Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the office's technology integration.  You will also implement and refine firm-wide standards and techniques.

  • Actively improves quality and efficiency in project design and delivery processes.
  • Supervises BIM Coordinators and/or Design Technology Specialists, and provides direct support to project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provides proactive support to project teams including, but not limited to, BIM implementation planning, team kick-off, project setup and technology configuration.
  • Customizes and maintains design technology standards if necessitated by regional requirements.
  • Ensures that configurations and other customizations are complete, in place and limited to those that are supportable and in line with standards and project procedures.
  • Provides orientation and training to all staff in regional practice on standards and procedures for design technology.
  • Maintains current knowledge of design software, industry developments in integrated practice, and other applicable techniques.

Required Skills

  • Advanced knowledge in building information modeling programs and applicable techniques.
  • Expertise in Revit required (Obviously)
  • Proficiency in 3D Modeling and analysis software such as Rhino, Navisworks; including the ability to configure these programs preferred.
  • Experience with remote computing solutions preferred.
  • Ability to effectively train project staff.
  • Effective writing and verbal communication skills required
