Associate II participates in the development and execution of MN's various projects. While developing both design and technical solutions under the supervision of project leaders, Associate II's also have the capacity to provide guidance to Associates and Associate I's, and/or manage smaller projects independently with a keen awareness of scope, schedule, budget, and bureaucratic processes. Associate II's interact and collaborate with the firm’s leadership teams, including Partners, to maintain MN's standard for quality of work.

Job Responsibilities

  • Undertake research and document specific technical and design aspects of the project;

  • Participate in project meetings from Schematic Design through Construction Administration;

  • Support colleagues by providing positive and relevant feedback during design development;

  • Perform work independently; evaluate and solve problems as they arise;

  • Capable of providing design and technical guidance to junior members of the team;

  • Able to take on unique assignments that require new or improved techniques;

  • Develop design layouts and features to present to the team;

  • Understand the firm’s business objectives for every project;

  • Meet project goals and deliverables for every phase of the project;

  • Manage regulatory reviews and coordinating workflow with consultants;

  • Inform others of progress and/or challenges to meeting project goals;

  • Manages project schedule in the firm's management software.

  • Bachelor of Architecture

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Google Docs and Adobe CS

  • 5-7 years of experience in high-end residential and/or commercial projects
