With offices in Independence, Kansas and Pittsburg, Kansas, we have over 25 years of experience in projects that range from Residential, Civic/Government, Healthcare, Education and Spiritual. We primarily serve the four-state region: Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri & Arkansas.
 5-7 years of professional experience
 Bachelors degree in architecture
 License preferred, but not required
 Background in working on high-quality, design-oriented, fast-paced projects
 High technical and detailing skills
 Excellent leadership and communication skills
 Proficient in Revit, CAD and Enscape a bonus
 Residential and commercial experience
 Able to manage multiple projects at one time
 Strong teamworking capabilities and able to supervise other team employees
 Experience in construction administration and interacting with governing agencies and building codes
 Conduct evaluations to identify the building requirements and needs of the client
 Produce building plans using computer aided design software programs and technical drawing tools
 Specify the measurement, materials, and outline of building components to be implemented by building contractors
 Ensure building designs fall within the specified budget and requirements of a client
 Establish contact with clients to discuss building progress, issues arising, and necessary adjustments to be made
 Review architectural drawings for federal, state, and local code compliance
 Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and architectural judgment in developing project solutions.
 Understand construction assemblies and best practices
 Actively coordinate with consultants and other disciplines
 Participate in project meetings and generate meeting minutes
 Actively support strategic goals of the firm as well as understand how your actions contribute to the firm
 Research and maintain knowledge of various applications, methods and materials
 Network and consult with various industry professionals
 Meet with clients and determine needs and requirements and adjust design as needed
 Prepare drawings, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
 Determine and adhere to project timelines and milestones

 Position can be full or part time, located in-office in Independence, Kansas; Pittsburg, Kansas office or remote office is negotiable
 Benefits and salary will be determined per experience
