For the past twenty years, our client has managed hundreds of real estate and capital projects, developing creative solutions to complex problems across the built environment. They are seeking New York City-based project leaders to drive capital projects through all stages of development.

Role Overview:
Senior Project Managers are the primary point of contact with the client and for all project consultants. They are responsible for overall budget and schedule management, in addition to strategic planning with the client to anticipate and address project-specific needs. Senior Project Managers are responsible for assisting the client in developing an overall project framework and selecting the appropriate project team to ensure successful and timely completion of the project. Their leaders are also expected to develop the skill sets of team members working under them.

Required Experience:
Prospective applicants should have 10+ years of experience with project management, real estate development, architecture, or related practices, with experience leading project delivery. Applicants should have direct experience in all project phases and should have served in the role of project lead on at least three projects greater than 50,000-sf.
Additionally, previous work experience should include direct involvement in:

  • Institutional projects
  • Change of use process
  • Construction administration
  • Coordinating between or with A/E teams, contractors, and various stakeholders
  • Schedule and budget management

Applicants should have strong written and verbal communication skills and be prepared to lead project meetings. This role will also require 5 days in office or on site depending on schedule. Remote work is not an option.
Compensation: Base salary in the $130-150k range with total compensation nearing $150-175k. Generous benefits package and great work life balance.
