RACAIA Architecture & Interior Design is looking for a sharp, detail-oriented recently-graduated Junior Designer based in our Downtown Los Angeles, CA office. This position involves flexibility around in-office and remote work.

The ideal candidate for this position is an ambitious architectural thinker with a strong technological savvy. Our Junior Designer position is for those who want to elevate their skills by collaborating with a dynamic, intelligent team to support our project managers, consultants, and clients with acumen, integrity, and curiosity.

This individual would also be thoughtful, exacting, and detail-oriented. They would understand the basics of developing construction documents, as well as design quality, constructability and detail completeness. RACAIA projects include corporate retail, government, civic/schools, designing for restaurants, hospitality, and healthcare.

• Bachelors of Architecture from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 1 year architectural and construction experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam, without exception
• Possess an understanding of the architectural design and construction process
• 3D modeling skills and Adobe CS experience
• Strong technical skills overall
• Driven to problem-solve, ask many questions, and keep open communication at all times
• Must be legally able to work in the United States & local to Los Angeles
