We are looking for a Drafter who can be responsible for performing architectural assignments. The candidate should be prepared to receive guidance from managing members of the team, as well as taking initiative. Working knowledge of the construction process would be key. The role will involve developing and incorporating design intent into high quality sets of construction documents. You will be working alongside Project Managers, assisting them with the completion of high quality drawings, specifications, and detailing.
Responsibilities...
Working with the entire architectural documentation process (SD, DD, CD)
Existing Conditions documentation
Code review on projects with Project Manager
Coordinating architectural design with external consultants
Presentation materials, including rendering and 3D
Preparing construction documents
Accurate completion of construction document production and coordination
Project close out, punch list, as-builts, and archiving
Requirements...
Performing assignments with minimal supervision
Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Balancing project tasks, and keeping project work flowing
Dedication to the pursuit of knowledge and personal/professional growth
