Design and manage design direction for drawings and sketches as assigned senior project lead
Manage Revit project documentation and generation as assigned senior project lead
Review Revit and BIM360 file management to confirm conformity with office standards
Develop and maintain project data and make reports to management and the design team to inform future projects
Manage 2-3 projects concurrently by delegating drafting, production, and visualization generation to assigned team members
Manage, coordinate, and review design deliverables generated by project members from the design, production, and rendering teams to confirm conformity with office standards
Manage document dissemination, generation, and schedule maintenance for sub-consultants to ensure timely deliverable submission to internal and external Customers and permitting entities
Manage, coordinate, and record responses to internal and external Customer comments and requests in a professional, timely, and courteous manner
Manage dissemination and review team meeting agendas and meeting minutes prior to submission to internal and external Customers
Propose revisions and improvements to BIM manuals, procedures, and Revit template updates if required to Design Technology Manager for incorporation into office and documentation standards
Interface with construction and manufacturing teams to ensure faithful and profitable execution of VBC projects
Propose revisions and improvements to architectural standard details to Director of Design Operations and VP of Design where needed
Conduct periodic project site and | or factory visits and document construction and | or manufacturing progress to ensure compliance with project documentation
Support and enforce strategies that will help meet the needs of and improve the level of service to internal and external Customers
Support and assist Director of Design Operations in management of internal and external Customer relationships
Motivate, lead, and mentor direct reporting members of design and architectural team and assist Director of Design Operations with tracking and assessing performance
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Design, Construction, or professional degree in Architecture required; Master’s degree preferred
Engineering, Architecture, Interior Architecture, Construction experience required
6-10 Years of experience required
DfMA familiarity preferred
AutoCAD, Revit proficiency required
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required
Bluebeam Revu proficiency preferred
Must have a positive attitude and be able to lead a team
Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills
Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
Must have the ability to manage and communicate with remote teams
Must have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Must be an independent problem-solver and appreciate and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
