Studio UNLTD is currently seeking a qualified Project Manager to assist with a variety of restaurant/hospitality projects. This position is in person at our studio in Los Angeles.

The minimum requirements for the candidate:

  • Professional degree in interior design from an accredited institution. 
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in a design/architecture firm.
  • Must have minimum 2 years hospitality design experience.  
  • Strong knowledge of current California and municipal codes.
  • High level knowledge of interior construction methods and detailing.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Proven track record leading a project team.
  • Significant experience with QA/QC review of drawings and specifications. 
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with the ability to work in an office while adhering to COVID-19 safety protocols

Duties and responsibilities

  • Design ideation in collaboration with team members. 
  • Develop space plans and design details.
  • Management of project documents from pre-design through construction administration. 
  • Leading junior and intermediate team members on design, material and FF&E specifications, construction documents, detailing, code research and consultant management.
  • Coordinate with partners and project architect on project management.
  • Accountability for appropriateness of specifications and details. 
  • Manage client, contractor and consultant communication.  
  • Generate and monitor project schedules and team member's time. 
  • Complete range of construction administration duties to manage quality and expectations
  • Review and provide insight on construction bids. 
  • Review of plan sets for accuracy and compliance.     

Minimum Skills: Revit, AutoCAD, Hand Sketching, Office Suite, Bluebeam.
