Studio Anda is a boutique architecture and interior design firm based in Miami. The studio's projects include high-end single-family residences in South Florida and The Bahamas.

We are on the lookout for a Senior Interior Designer to help build and shape our interior design team. In this position, you will be responsible for the successful design and completion of the studio’s interior design projects. Your work will be driven by a project’s lifecycle and unique challenges (which you and the team will surely solve!), field coordination and execution, as well as constant communication and coordination with all stakeholders. What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with the firm’s Principal during creation of project design
  • Liaison between the Principal and architectural design team throughout the design process
  • Organize and lead design reviews and critiques with the Principal and other team members
  • Lead sketching of design solutions, preparation of drawings, creation of client presentations, sourcing of materials/finishes/FF&E, and production of drawings
  • Perform ongoing document quality control reviews to ensure accuracy of design intent and technical details
  • Review and coordinate the work of architecture, FF&E and graphics, and owner consultants
  • Attend and lead consultant coordination meetings
  • Coordinate with Principal to provide services per scope, budget, and schedule
  • Create presentations based on Studio Anda’s deliverables per contract documents
  • Lead the production and delivery of contract documents (e.g., drawings, specifications, budgets, and reports)
  • Perform construction administration services (e.g., responding to RFI’s and ensuring design intent is met, reviewing submittals and substitutions, conducting punch list reviews)
  • Review shop drawings
  • Attend field reviews, on-site meetings, and project meetings
  • Maintain client communications and relationships throughout project duration

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • Backed by 6–10 years in an interior design role across high-end single-family projects with intimate knowledge of the entire project lifecycle (from schematic design to construction administration)
  • A skilled designer with experience managing high-end projects from beginning to end
  • An organized, task- and process-oriented leader with the ability to work across multiple scope areas in parallel or phased schedules, or on multiple projects
  • An expert in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office with a keen eye for detail
  • An excellent communicator with strong writing skills
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and anticipates what’s next
  • An excellent problem solver and communicator who loves a good challenge
  • A skilled people manager
  • Highly collaborative and willing to approach every project with creativity
  • Passionate about interior design
  • Willing to travel (domestic and international)

Nice to Have:

  • Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • Proficiency with specification writing software (e.g., DesignSpec), SketchUp, Lumion 3D Rendering, and Revit
  • Experience with projects involving high-end interior architecture
