Büro Koray Duman Architects is an award-winning and design focused architectural firm in New York City, creating spaces of cultural significance. Our energetic environment emphasizes strong concept exploration and aims at creating spaces that positively contribute to the spatial culture. We are a small office with a diverse portfolio in residential, commercial and institutional projects that continues to expand. The position will be on-site in New York City.

The ideal Intern candidate should possess the following skills:

• Currently studying Architecture, B. Arch or M. Arch 
• Strong graphic and design talent
• Strong rendering skills and familiarity with Rhino
• Excellent command of Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD
• Excellent craft and model-making skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English (any other language is an asset)
• Candidates must feel confident in a complex and dynamic environment

Interns will be asked to engage in a variety of tasks including presentation, physical model making, rendering, and drafting, depending on the immediate needs of the office. They are typically exposed to a variety of project types, scales, and project stages during their time here. Interns should be well organized, as they will be asked to work on multiple projects at one time. Participation and self-motivation are encouraged as designs are collaborative & ideas are generated in discussion with the whole project team.
