We are looking for an Interior Design Associate to join us, working in all phases of the interiors process. As an integrated firm, construction, interiors and analysts are all in house. From the architectural phase through construction completion you will be producing AutoCAD drawings, doing construction takeoffs, managing procurement logistics and sourcing of select FF&E among other things for a variety of multifamily and commercial concepts. This position fits a person who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. We are unusual as we are our own clients.   • A minimum 2-years experience functioning as a design assistant or interior architect in the multi-family market.
  • Work with the design director in all phases of the design process on several projects at once including but not limited to: sourcing new materials, creating Auto CAD versions of ID drawings, and select procurement.
  • Act as a bridge between construction PMs and director creating takeoffs related to design, marking up iterations of pre-construction drawings for review, as well as RFI’s and submittals.
  • Generate detailed plans, specifications, and elevations in Auto CAD needed for construction teams. From custom furniture to wall elevations.
  • Coordinate and document delivery with warehouses and work with vendors for replacements when items arrive damaged.
  • Take accurate field measurements as required.
  • Ordering samples for library.
  • Assist in creating specifications manuals and turnover documents.
  • Assist with installations, coordinate deliveries and post installation follow up.
  • Maintain up to date and organized physical (as needed) and electronic files.
  • Strong sense of urgency, organization and close attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, research and problem-solving skills.


  • Experience with multifamily building types.
  • Self-motivated and confident problem solver with a positive attitude, taking initiative when needed.
  • Ability to present and articulate ideas, analyze and problem solve.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, carry, climb, stoop to load/unload various objects when needed.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Outlook required. In Design/Photoshop a plus
  • Car required (travel to job sites throughout the city and material pick-up required)
  • Some out of state travel required.
