Our boutique interior design studio seeks a passionate design professional to join our highly collaborative team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Develop and communicate design concepts.
Produce construction documents using AutoCAD, manage related production; coordinate consultant work.
Support Principal on projects in all phases.
Produce renderings using Rhino, VRay and or Adobe Creative Suite.
Coordinate and manage construction phase work and CA tasks.
Coordination and preparation of consultant and client meetings.
Communicate constructively and effectively with peers, Principal and Clients; demonstrate professional writing skills; organize information with graphic clarity.
Choose finishes, materials and FFE.
A great design sensibility and a strong portfolio.
7+ years’ experience in a professional architecture or interior design studio.
CA Architectural licensure or pursuit thereof preferred.
Professional degree in architecture or interior architecture.
Experience and proficiency in AutoCAD.
Experience and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
Fluency with 3D Visualization
Experience with construction and CA coordination
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of the relationship between planning codes and site and building design.
Embody sound ethics and good judgment; inspire trust; exhibit values compatible with those of firm; contribute to profession and community.
Ability to manage one’s own time is essential.
Qualifications
