About the Job

Our New York office is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Architect with 10+ years of experience to lead the design, coordination and documentation of large scale residential projects in New York City.

The Senior Project Architect’s role will primarily encompass project management and coordination internally and externally with our client, consultants, and contractor, with a focus on understanding and solving the various evolving needs in the context of ongoing design efforts. The candidate will need to identify critical path issues, search for solutions, and lead the implementation of them. They will report directly to a Principal and will lead the team independently thereafter.


  • Day-to-day coordination and management of project team, including consultants
  • Managing the scheduling and coordination of ongoing interior design efforts
  • Overseeing the completion of architectural contract documents
  • Administration of ongoing and future construction efforts
  • Meeting and managing client needs, in coordination with the various design team members and the construction team
  • Ability to handle change management and implementation


  • Professional degree in Architecture
  • 10+ years of professional experience with large scale high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects through construction
  • Experience with developer-driven projects
  • Curtainwall experience
  • Working knowledge of MEP/FP, structural systems
  • Ability to engage an existing team structure of highly skilled architects focusing on multiple efforts within the existing project structure
  • Skill in internal team management, including managing design schedules and large architecture teams (10+ staff)
  • Skill in external team management, including establishing and driving coordination and delivery schedules among large consultant teams (15+ consultants)
  • Strong critical thinking skills, an ability to carry out design concept to realization
  • Professional experience with Revit
  • Fluency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and MS Office
  • 3-D modeling and rendering experience preferred (Rhino, Enscape, Grasshopper, VRay)
  • Construction Administration experience is required
  • NY Registered Architect a plus
