Mixed-use Architectural Job Captain

Peloros is a dynamic staffing firm. Since 1993 we have been partnering with Architecture and Interior Design firms. We have multiple clients throughout California that are looking for talented individuals for contract, temp-to-permanent, and direct-hire opportunities.

Our client is seeking highly motivated, personable, well-rounded Job Captains who exhibit boldness, innovate with purpose, practice environmental stewardship, and always engage in a collaborative, inclusive design process. Current and upcoming project opportunities in their office span mixed-use, multifamily affordable and market rate housing, hospitality, and custom home markets.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

  • More than 5 years of full-time experience in producing, coordinating, detailing construction document sets
  • Working knowledge of various construction types, building materials, and systems
  • Working knowledge of California Building Code and ADA Accessibility Code
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communications skills
  • Proactive attitude with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentational skills is required
  • Ability to work on smaller projects independently as well as collaborate on larger-scale projects as part of a larger team
  • Able to work effectively, balancing demands on multiple projects at various stages of development; willingness to pitch in and assist where ever needed
  • Proficiency with REVIT, Sketch-up or Rhino, Adobe CS, and hand-sketching graphic skills
  • On path to CA architectural license; sustainability accreditation highly desired
  • Professional Architecture Degree
