A Forensic Investigation Project Manager manages forensic investigation and physical conditions assessment projects, manages multiple projects at a time, and has overall project management responsibility; including client relationships, scheduling, budgeting, and profitability for a variety of projects. They are competent in all conventional aspects of architecture and performs work requiring independent judgment in evaluation, selection and adaptation/modification of standard techniques procedures and criteria.
8+ years of experience.

Understanding of Interior and Exterior Construction Details
Familiarity with Building Systems
Knowledge of Building Codes and Industry Standards
Familiarity with Construction Cost Estimating
Capable of Negotiating
Excellent Communication Skills
MEP Education/Experience Preferred
Responsibilities
Apply sound and diverse knowledge in architecture principles and practices in a broad array of assignments.
Based on knowledge of current and historic construction types, materials, and products used within New York City; select, evaluate and implement procedures and techniques to be used on projects
Write and present technical letters, reports, and proposals in clear articulate language
Act as primary client liaison. Actively manage; client budgets, schedules and programs, project communication and documentation, office administrative tasks, and project team assignments
Perform and/or oversee performance of building site inspections
Keep current on building codes governing New York City. Awareness of historic building codes.
Actively participate in a teamwork environment
Mentor junior associates
Effectively manage time to perform work duties in a fast-paced environment
Effectively manage resources to meet project schedule and budget
Work on other project types, as needed
A Project Manager can expect to be “in the field” between 25% - 75% of their time during any given week
