JUNIOR ARCHITECT POSITION  

Max Parangi Architects P.C., a 35 years plus well established boutique Architectural Firm located in Westchester, NY with many diversified and interesting projects in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, is seeking two  talented Entry-Level Junior Architect for a Full time position  to join our talented team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn at a very fast pace while collaborating directly with  our staff  architects and the firm principal. You will be exposed to a variety of projects within the architectural profession (high-end residential, multi-story & townhouse development, office planning, retail and stores, medical buildings, restaurants, salons and spas, etc.).

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Architectural Technology is a MINIMUM REQUIREMENT. Ideal candidate however, should have a Master’s Degree in one of the same above mentioned fields 
• Own car is a MUST for this position
• Possibility to work remotely 1 or 2 days a week after initial trial period. 
• Candidates need to be 100% proficient in SPOKEN AND WRITTEN ENGLISH. 
• Professional experience in Architectural firms is preferred, although  initial training will be provided to bring candidates up to pace with our dynamic office team  
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficiency in hand-sketching, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office
• Proactive in nature, passionate, with a “can do” attitude
• Ability to take projects from schematic design to construction documents
• Basic understanding of Zoning and current Building Codes
