Project Manager

AUX Architecture seeks a Project Manager with 15+ years of experience. 

Founded in 2008, AUX designs for the future of people, institutions and communities. The Downtown Los Angeles-based practice brings craft and clarity to designs at every scale—from hearth to urban realm. Functionality, sustainability, and beautiful materials are hallmarks of the practice’s skillful architecture. We work on high-end residential, multi-family, mixed use, hospitality and arts projects locally, nationally and internationally.  AUX is a collaborative work environment that values its employees and is looking for motivated people with great attitudes to join the team.

The successful candidate will be passionate about design excellence and have great communication and collaboration skills. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a high degree of self-motivation, flexibility, and resourcefulness.   

 Roles & Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• A leadership role in developing design, managing complex projects, design team coordination, and producing deliverables throughout the design process.
• Ability to manage all phases of a project from concept design through construction
• Assisting and/or leading project management efforts on projects.
• Guiding and mentoring junior team members.
• Consultant coordination, including drawings review and design integration.
• And, must love dogs (in the studio)

Experience & Qualifications

• 15+ Years Architectural Experience
• An accredited Masters or Bachelor of Architecture degree
• Excellent graphic and architectural design skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization skills including multi-tasking and time management.
• Ability to work effectively with others, including co-workers, executives, and external clients and partners.
• Experience with the following software:
  • Revit
  • Rhino
  • Bluebeam
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Google (Gmail, Drive, etc.)
  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

Workplace Limitations Due to COVID

AUX is working partially remote due to COVID-19. Scheduled in-person days occur twice per week at this time, plus in person on an as-needed basis. Full-time in-person work will be required in the coming months.
