Pei Cobb Freed & Partners seeks a talented, creative, and motivated junior (2 years of experience) or senior (4 years of experience) 3D designer to produce exceptionally high-quality and detailed renderings. The goal is to create compelling brand stories for architecture and the built environment, drawing on a range of creative skills in still imagery, photography, and animation. In addition to final imagery, the production of visual studies and sketches at various stages of architectural design, to facilitate the design process, is an important part of the role.

The ideal candidate must have a keen eye for architectural representation and the ability to produce rendered imagery that effectively communicates design intent. You will work on multiple projects as part of a team and must be able to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree in visualization, architecture, or related subject
• 2+ years of professional experience in 3D architectural visualization
• Clear communication and creative problem-solving ability
• Enthusiastic and collaborative team player
• Experience in managing client relationships and assisting in client meetings is desirable|
• Authorization to work in the United States

Technical Skills

• High degree of proficiency in 3ds Max, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper, Enscape, Blackmagic Fusion, Unity or Unreal Engine, SpeedTree
• Modeling, lighting, materializing, rendering, and post-production knowledge
• Experience in the creation of marketing-quality visuals, VR, and animations
• Ability to understand and interpret architectural drawings and concepts
• Interest in investigating new methods of visualization technology
