Description

HUDGINS DESIGN GROUP is a residential design firm based in the city of Laguna Beach, California specializing in high end contemporary residences across the US.

HUDGINS DESIGN GROUP currently have an expanding workload and are looking for an individual that is knowledgeable in custom luxury residential architecture with a strong work ethic, confident and highly motivated.  Qualified candidates will demonstrate experience with custom residential architecture at all phases of a project. This experienced professional will have full responsibility for proactively managing all aspects of exciting new projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects through all phases of development, including Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration for projects
• The ability to produce a set of organized design development and construction drawings.
• Candidates must be extremely organized and capable of multitasking.
• This is a full-time position.

Skills/Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience
• Degree in Architecture, minimum BArch
• Substantial design experience in custom residential design
• Experience in design development and working drawings
• Strong skills and talent in SketchUp modeling, AutoCAD, and Revit, rendering skills a plus.
• Knowledgeable of construction and building codes.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills including organizational, and collaborative skills
