Summary of Position:

We are looking for an experienced full-time Marketing Coordinator in San Diego to grow with our firm. This position will support the Marketing department, Principals, and Studio Leaders, with a passionate dedication to creating value and solutions for our clients. You will work in close collaboration with our Vice President and Marketing Manager to ensure consistency and quality of marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will bring a strong level of insight and passion to project pursuits and be an integral member of the Marketing team. The Marketing Coordinator will provide marketing support to the firm and assure that the marketing resources are developed, up-to-date, and utilized to meet the firm’s objectives.

Responsibilities By Order of Importance:

  • Lead and assist in the creation and production of proposals, statements of interest, presentations, brochures, and additional marketing materials primarily using Adobe InDesign, along with other programs.
  • Composing, editing, and maintenance of collateral: Cover letters, project descriptions, resumes, photography, renderings, project information, and brand management.
  • Assist Studio Leaders in seeking out and tracking upcoming projects for new business opportunities: Add and update leads in Ajera or CRM software.
  • Assist in coordinating internal meetings and external marketing events.
  • Attend weekly internal marketing and business development meetings and assist with follow-ups.
  • Assist in content creation and implementation on website and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Blog).
  • Copywriting for SGPA reports: Quarterly, Operations, Marketing, Year-End, BD Studio (develop compelling “storytelling” content).
  • Act as liaison with media contacts and other marketing coordinators for subconsultants.

 You will be considered if you offer the following background:

  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
  • 1-3 years of related professional experience (Experience within the AEC industry with RFQ/P process a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or Communications preferred (or equivalent work experience).
  • Creative eye with a passion for modern style, clean aesthetic, and latest design trends.
  • Working alongside with architects, you must have fine attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and data entry/management.
  • Experienced with social media and website development/maintenance (WordPress).
  • Comfortable working with a dynamic team, you are an excellent communicator, responsive, highly-organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and a problem-solver.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment capable of overseeing and prioritizing multiple projects accordingly. Must be able to handle multiple deadlines at once.
  • And, of course, having a passion for architecture and construction is always a plus.
