PALO is looking for an Architect with six or more years of experience and, preferably, a license to practice architecture in California. About the role
This role is pivotal in leading projects, processes and teams within an expanding portfolio of multi-family residential projects. It requires an incisive mind adept at leadership, design thinking and decision making.

Team Management

• Lead team members in project process, design, resourcing and training

Project and Design Management

• Manage small to mid-sized projects (10-50 units) with attention to tasks including estimating fees, determining scope of work, handling project documentation, overseeing design and project process workflow and ensuring best practices
• Develop and manage Revit models, drawings, specifications, submittals and presentations through all project phases
• Ensure brilliant designs working with complex parameters

Client Management

• Ensure quality control, client and subconsultant communication and timeline adherence

About you
We are looking for someone who can prioritize design, constructability and management and who brings sound judgement through all project phases.

• Advanced knowledge of design and construction processes in multi-family residential
• Diverse knowledge of architecture principles, practices and management methods
• Accuracy working with speed
• Leadership acumen with experience leading teams of 4 to 6 architects/designers across a portfolio of residential projects.
• Expert level skills in Revit
• 6+ years of experience, California license preferred
