We are exclusively representing a critically acclaimed architecture firm in Connecticut with a need for two Senior Project Managers.

You will collaborate with the studio to develop design solutions as well as coordinate the design of our commercial work through the construction documentation phases. You know how to follow design guidelines into realized 2D/3D models and images and can research technical challenges when they arise, levering your project experience and technical acumen to drive client projects from concept through build. They are looking for project leaders that could collaborate on a variety of domestic, single family luxury residences throughout the country and larger scale complex work as well.

Your Role
? Provide design and documentation for a range of projects
? Develop architectural drawings and specifications to communicate planning concepts for project
documentation and construction; apply proper QA/QC methods throughout project
? Lead periodic project meetings and presentations
? Set up project team software parameters and manage standards.
? Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ program requirements and standards and policies for
completion
? Assist in establishing overall project budgets and milestone schedules in coordination with project managers, architects, and project engineers
? Communicate planning concepts to project teams, both verbally and through graphic and written reports
? Develop architectural drawings and specifications to communicate planning concepts for project documentation and construction
? Prepare and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc.
? Anticipate and develop solutions to technical and design problems following established standards
? Be able to work independently and with project teams in creating representations of design sketches or developed projects
? Able to research solutions for technical, challenges when they arise.
? Possess strong communication skills, time management, and a self-driven work ethic

Your Qualifications
? Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Architecture and varied levels of relevant experience as a project architect. 
? 7+ years of project architect experience
? Experience resolving complex technical and design issues
? Strong proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD is preferred
? SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite knowledge a plus
? Understanding of how buildings are constructed and ability to create technical documents that succinctly, thoroughly, and accurately describe the work to be done
? Strong knowledge of building codes and standards.
? Passionate leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills as well as collaborative team player
? Solid graphic and oral presentation skills
