Intermediate Architect - Commercial Workplace

urban are excited to be working with an established firm based in central Chicago, who is a industry leader in innovative workplace design. Having core & shell commercial and workplace projects across the city and surrounding areas, this is an excellent company with a great work ethic to their employees. They are currently looking for an Intermediate Architect to join their expanding team, to work on a variety of commercial typologies. 

Responsibilities: 

• Work on all stages of the project, from Schematic Design through to Construction Administration 
• Coordinate with clients and consultants on various aspects of the project 
• Producing design and documentation throughout all stages of the project 
• Prepare and issue documents for permit, bidding and construction 
• Work closely with the Code and zoning laws for review 
• Demonstrate creativity in design and the ability to adapt design solutions to a variety of projects 

Requirements: 

• 4+ years of professional experience in commercial office design 
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD 
• Working towards, or have obtained, Architectural License in the State of IL 
• Working knowledge of Chicago Building Codes 
• Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills. 
• Passion for providing client-centered design, excellent client service and responsiveness.
