EL Studio PLLC is seeking a critical thinker with 1 – 3 years of experience in a professional architectural practice who possesses exceptional design sensibilities and communication skills to support numerous Architecture and Interior Design initiatives.  The position and nature of the studio environment requires individuals who are flexible, articulate, resourceful, creative and committed.  The candidate should possess a keen interest in design.


The candidate will work closely with the EL Studio’s Partners and associates to develop and execute scopes of work of various scales.  The candidate should be able to understand and conceptualize interior space as a holistic treatment of the overall architectural language of the building.  Tasks may include:

·         Production of documentations for all traditional phases of architectural projects including: Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Outline Specifications, Construction Administration 

·         Assisting in production of presentation materials for client meetings and internal reviews including: 3D modeling in Revit and some traditional 2-D architectural drawings as well as 3-D study models in Rhino and attendant tools

·         Assisting in production of presentation layout using Adobe Suite

·         Assisting in production of Materials Research & Sourcing

·         Assisting in production of Material Board Assembly

·         Assisting in specification of Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment (FF&E) selection

·         Assisting in design and production of intent drawings for custom designed elements


·         BS / BA degree in Architecture  

·         1 - 3 years of work experience 

·         Proficient knowledge of the following computer programs: Revit, AutoCad, Rhino, 3ds MAX, Sketch Up, Grasshopper, Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; Microsoft Office: Word, and Excel

·         Ability to convey ideas through hand sketching

·         Strong presentation skills

·         Strong organizational skills

·         Strong communication skills

·         The ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines 

·         Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical capabilities

·         Good interpersonal skills, the ability to confidently and effectively communicate, the ability to manage time, and the ability to work independently, as well as with team members.
