Asymptote Architecture, a New York City based award winning firm is seeking an Architectural Designer with excellent design skills for current cultural, hospitality, mixed use and urban projects located abroad and in the US. Our firm offers a creative, fast paced and highly collaborative environment. We are looking for highly motivated, talented and energetic, individuals who will enthusiastically contribute to the design process with the goal of creating sustainable, socially relevant and exceptional architecture.   

Qualifications

• Talented and creative designer with 2 - 5 years post-graduate experience with strong concept design and schematic design skills, experience with Design Development or CD's a plus.
• Good project representation skills including 2D drawings, diagrams and rendering.
• Strong 3D modeling in Rhino; 3Dmax or TwinMotion a plus 
• Knowledge of digital model fabrication 
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe CS suite
• Excellent at communication graphically, verbally and written
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Confidence in working on complex projects in a fast paced environment
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team
• Knowledge of Asymptote's work
• Professional Architecture Degree, Masters Preferred

New York City based Asymptote is located in proximity to Brooklyn neighborhoods, 5 minutes from midtown Manhattan, and easily accessed by subway and ferry. Indoor parking for bicycles and scooters provided.
