An internationally recognized New York City based firm are partnering up with urban as they seek an Architectural professional & Computational Designer to work on range of large complex projects.

This highly collaborative firm are known for their diverse portfolio and exceptional design. Their work includes a range of renovations, new builds, extensions, interior design and historic preservation. Their diverse portfolio includes typologies such as institutional, healthcare, public, civic / infrastructure, education, hospitality, residential, mixed used and commercial projects.

Within this role you will utilize your unique skill set to innovate and create new design possibilities whilst working on some of the most exciting projects around the world. This is an opportunity to bridge the gap between our clients design studio and technology team to be apart of a highly prolific firm.

To be considered you will required:

• 6+ years of experience or equivalent as an Architect and Computational Designer.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• Prior experience in developing parametric models to solve a range of design problems.
• Proficiency in a range of software’s including Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit and Dynamo.
• Text based programming skills (C#, Python, Processing, JavaScript, etc.) – This a MUST to be considered for this role.
• Prior professional experience of the Architectural Design and Delivery process.
• Very strong conceptual design and graphic communication skills.
• The ability to work within a collaborative environment working between multiple studios.
• Prior experience (with examples) of solving problems with creative solutions.
