To support our continued growth in Seattle, Aedas is seeking a high caliber candidate to provide creativity, ingenuity, and design support for diverse, technically challenging projects.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Exceptional design, communication, and graphic skills
Interest in all aspects of design, interior and exterior
Ability to communicate design ideas through sketch and diagram
Functional understanding of digital design tools
Preparation of conceptually clear documentation for project meetings and submissions
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and consultant teams
Fluent in English, spoken and written
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
At minimum, a professional degree and 4 years relevant experience in a design first office
Professional Registration or actively pursuing
LEED, Well, and/or other Professional Accreditation
Experience preparing design, permit and construction documents required
Experience with Revit required
Experience with laboratory and creative workplace design highly desired
Additional skills in visualization and graphics highly desired (Rhino, 3dsMax, Adobe Design Suite)
Rendering and model making experience highly desired
US Citizen or current US work Visa
