Blair + Mui Dowd Architects, PC (bmdarch.net) is seeking an experienced Interior designer with 3+ years’ experience in healthcare, laboratory, education and institutional projects to join its staff.              The candidate will work with a team on a range of projects including new construction, renovation, and development of finish standards and guidelines for nationally recognized organizations. Ideal candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design/ Architecture
• 3+ years’ experience in Healthcare, Laboratory, and Institutional work
• Ability to collaborate with and assist project designer on all phases of interior design projects, including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, vendor follow ups, pricing requests, etc.)
• excellent written and communication skills including ability to prepare clear, informative presentation materials
• excellent intrapersonal skills including presentations and technical conversations with design team, faculty, staff, leadership, architects, and building owners
• experience with the LEED certification process including credit calculations and documentation
• Graphic skills and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, Sketch-up
• Rendering abilities 
• Legal working status in the U.S
