Intermediate Architect for international design firm

An award-winning design practice with offices in 3 different continents, is looking for a strong intermediate level architect/designer to work on a range of residential and cultural projects. This position is based in their NYC office and this person will be working under the direction of senior staff. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with multiple consultants
• Contribute strategic thinking to the design direction of Cultural and Residential projects.
• Prepare and deliver architectural documentation packages from concept design through to design development and construction.
• Developing technical construction detailing.
• Design with US Model Building Codes.
• Implement sustainability strategies.
• Supervising junior staff.
• Coordinate with multiple consultants.

Skills and Experience:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A minimum of 6-7 years or relevant experience in all phases from concept to completion.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture
• Exceptional design and presentation skills.
• LEED Accreditation is a plus
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and Rhino are a must.
• Ability to work on digital as well as physical models.

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000
