RICE+LIPKA ARCHITECTS seeks Designer

R+L is an award-winning architecture studio design studio with a focus on cultural, education and public works with an enduring sense of place. Recognized for bringing a civic-minded intelligence and resourceful vigor to a diverse range of building, planning and research projects, R+L embraces complex constraints and the latent design potential they carry.

We seek experienced, highly organized Designers for a range of cultural projects in all phases of development including technical development.  Designer candidates should posess a strong positive drive & attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years prior experience with recognized design studios in all phases of design process (NYC experience a plus).
• Ability to work well within schedule, gauge time and meet deadlines.  
• Rigorous attention to detail in drawing & studio filing standards & organization.
• Excellent written & verbal communications skill with English fluency.
• Professional degree in architecture required.
• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit a plus), Rhino, V-Ray, Adobe Suite, Work/Excel.
• Current NYC resident with all legal permits and visas required to work in USA.
• Salary tailored to individual experience, likely in the 60k-75k range.
