The University of Kentucky College of Design seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure track faculty position in the School of Architecture. 

The School seeks an emerging designer and educator to offer instruction in architectural design, in addition to foundational and advanced courses in digital methodologies. The full-time academic position comes with a rank of Assistant Professor.  Teaching responsibilities include graduate and/or undergraduate studio instruction, as well as a required lecture course and/or elective in a specific area of expertise. The appointment comes with an expectation of service to the school, university, and community. The tenure track Assistant Professor appointment would include start-up support to launch a research program that produces scholarly or creative output of national and international standing.
 
The successful applicant will have at least a Master of Architecture degree, and possess an emerging record of excellence in teaching and a creative research/practice agenda in computation, visualization, and/or digital fabrication. Applicants should be committed to the education of the future architect and positioned to integrate their scholarly trajectory with an adaptable pedagogical agenda that keeps pace with ongoing digital advancements in our field.
 
As the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s sole NAAB accredited Architecture program, UK offers a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, as well as two-year track and three-year track Master of Architecture programs. Established in 1965, the School of Architecture today employs 30 full and part-time faculty, who teach over 300 graduate and undergraduate students.
