We are an integrated firm which our professional roster consists of architects, interior designers, planners, urban designers, landscape architects, graphic designers, construction specification writers, construction economists, environmental analysts, resiliency experts, traffic and transportation engineers, and several other professional disciplines.

The Opportunity:           

Perkins Eastman is seeking an energetic person who is passionate about design and photography to assist in building, curating, and archiving the digital assets for our global design firm. This person would work with both the marketing and communications teams to organize the firm’s assets and maintain consistency across all offices.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Digital Asset Coordinator reports to the Photography Manager
  • Image Processing
    • Process (Exposure Compositing, Color Correct, Retouch) photographs taken by the in house photographer(s).
    • Review and improve quality and consistency across all photography, both from the in house team and commissioned photographers.
    • Prepare files for delivery to publications, awards, consultants, clients, etc
  • Photography: Architecture and Interiors
    • Assist on architectural and interiors photo shoots as necessary
    • May require frequent travel and long photoshoot days
    • Support photography team with photo shoot coordination as necessary (prop purchasing, planning, etc)
  • Asset Management Database:
    • Point person for all marketing database related projects
    • Train staff on database usage
    • Survey marketing staff to develop new database features to support their workflow
  • Asset Management
    • Day-to-day management of marketing image updates
    • Research, gather and upload images from all project teams to keep the marketing image database up to date
    • Investigate whether outdated images are still being used
    • Take the lead on organizing image libraries for incoming firm mergers
  • Perkins Eastman App
    • Keep the app up to date with current projects
    • Work with app developer to keep the app fresh and innovative
  • Website
    • Assist the communications department with website image updates
  • Other:
    • Assisting with other communications and marketing tasks as needed

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor degree
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience in Photography or Digital Media
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Expert level experience in utilizing Adobe Photoshop for image compositing, color correction, and retouching is required
  • Digital Asset Management and image archiving, editing experience is a plus
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, detail and organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and troubleshoot is essential
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to adjust furniture and carry equipment up to 30lbs required.
