Open Workshop for Architecture [OWA] is a Tampa-based architecture firm that offers a creative and collaborative work environment with a diverse portfolio of work that seeks to be meaningful in every detail.

We are a fast-growing firm, which provides the opportunity for each team member to be involved in specific or all aspects of each project from concept through construction, depending on the individual's interest. Projects include high-end residential (both single-family & multifamily), commercial, hospitality, aviation, cultural and interior architecture.

Currently, we are seeking a Project Architect with significant experience in the production and coordination of contract documents. The focus of this position is to produce high-quality construction documents with thorough detailing and notation skills and manage external consultants through all phases of the design process to ensure the drawings are properly coordinated. The Director of Production role will be designated to a confident professional who is a diligent and creative problem solver and can serve as a valuable member of OWA's collaborative and congenial work environment.


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school
  • Proficiency in Revit & AutoCAD
  • Strong interest in modern & contemporary architecture
  • Strong, clear communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of building codes, municipal codes and building construction
  • Ability to multi-task on multiple projects while maintaining a high level of detail & accuracy
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and deliver
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on high-end residential, commercial, hospitality & interior architecture
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) & Sketch-Up
