RADAR, Inc. is a full-service architecture studio located in Chinatown, Los Angeles, that produces designs that encourage creativity and build community. We are currently working on exciting projects including public sector, restaurant, retail, commercial and residential projects (both single- and multifamily, affordable and market-rate).


RADAR is seeking an Architect or Project Manager with experience and knowledge of all phases of the design process from pre-schematics through construction administration. Main responsibilities will include preparing or supervising the preparation of client presentations, including 3D modeling, renderings and diagrams; developing and drafting construction documentation; communicating with clients, subcontractors and general contractors; and conducting product specification research.

This position is ideal for a candidate looking to improve their leadership ability and independent decision making. RADAR operates as a team environment with clear delegation of roles and prioritizes continuous learning and feedback.


  • Professional degree in Architecture
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architecture, including construction site observation
  • Particular interest in and experience with single-family residential architecture including ADUs and familiarity with the currently applicable ordinances and regulatory requirements a plus
  • Fluency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling (Rhino) as well as project management programs (Smartsheet or similar)
  • Very good organizational skills, verbal communication, and written correspondence
  • Licensure not required

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes medical insurance and retirement plan benefits after an initial trial period. New hires will be involved in the firm’s growth and RADAR provides mentorship and support for the licensure process. You must be eligible to work in the USA and prepared to travel to our Chinatown LA office when permissible per LA County. Work from home / telecommuting may be permissible but not exclusive going forward.
