As part of an expansionary strategy, PALO is searching for a Project Manager with eight or more years of experience and preferably a license to practice architecture in California. This role will work on critical projects and processes in the office and take responsibility for projects, people and clients across a portfolio of multifamily residential projects.

About the role
This role is pivotal in developing projects, processes and teams within an expanding portfolio of small to medium sized multi-family residential projects. The role requires an incisive mind that is adept in critical thinking and decision making.

  • Full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small to mid-sized projects. Prepare strategic plans for project success.
  • Coordinate all project efforts, administrative and technical, to assure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Actively manage client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments.
  • Estimate fees, determine scope of works, and prepare proposals and contracts.

About you
We are looking for someone can confidently prioritize design thinking, detail design and management, all while bringing a soundness of action throughout project phases. We are building a modern architecture office that uses more enlightened ways of working with a good dose of common sense.

  • Expert knowledge of design and construction processes in multi-family residential.
  • Diverse knowledge of architecture principles, practices and management methods in a broad array of assignments.
  • Use of advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices in residential architecture.
  • Accuracy working with speed and precision.
  • Leadership acumen with experience leading teams of 10 to 15 architects/designers across a portfolio of residential projects.
  • Expert level skills in Revit
  • 8+ years of experience, California license preferred
