A medium sized, award-winning architectural practice seeks a self-motivated, Architectural Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in Revit on large scale projects. Preference will be given to those with experience in the design of aviation projects. If you have motivation plus experience and a strong design capability, coupled with a professional attitude and attention to detail, you may qualify for this opportunity. We are a committed, disciplined group of design professionals with depth and a diversity of experience that allows us to consult with other Architectural Design firms on high-profile new construction projects in the aviation sector. Position Description We are seeking a highly motivated Architectural Designer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to consult on a large scale, aviation project in the Construction Document phase.    Construction Documents will be produced in Revit as will coordination with other design disciplines.

Essential Duties and Qualifications

  • Degree from an Accredited Architectural Design School
  • Drafting architectural plans in Revit
  • Preparing construction documents
  • Assisting with construction administration
  • Preparing presentation materials

  • Understanding of construction drawings, requirements, and standards
  • Technical expertise
  • Expert proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to Revit, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, MS Windows; MS Office, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; Adobe Suite.
  • Collaborative and professional work ethic, team player
  • Ability to be flexible in multi-tasking and assignment adjustments.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
