This recruitment is for two (2) Architect – Advanced  positions (#00054798, & #00058475). By applying, you will be considered for both positions.

This position is responsible for the planning and management of capital projects, including managing the planning and design of new buildings, repairs and renovations of existing buildings, additions, major infrastructure and open space improvements; working with project users, facilities committees, architects and engineers, North Carolina State Agencies, permitting agencies, contractors, inspectors, and others to assure that the authorized design and construction projects are accomplished in accordance with the University’s approved guidelines, master plans, policies, and procedures; interpreting, facilitating, and assisting in the development of policies, methods and procedures relating to planning and design activities; ensuring projects conform to established budgets and schedules, and project modifications are carried out in a timely manner; and preparing and obtaining authorization for budgets and maintaining cost analysis data for projects and current schedule of project’s design and construction phases; and related duties as required.
