We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Control Architect to join our BELLEVUE, WA office. This person must be a licensed Architect and perform at a very high level of professional competency. Primarily responsible for reviewing Construction Documents for accuracy, omissions, constructability, coordination, consistency, legibility and code compliance. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about providing positive feedback, mentoring staff and serving as a reference source for junior team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for adherence to codes and regulations;
  • Reviews drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards;
  • Supervision of technical staff may be required;
  • Provides in-house quality control by marking up drawings and ensuring that revisions are understood and completed
  • Mentors staff and serves as a reference source for junior team members
  • Upholds company standards and keeps them up to date
  • Develops in-house learning seminars and documents
  • Researches new products and construction methods
  • Provides positive feedback and demonstrates effective communication and direction which inspires high team performance.
  • Dedication to high quality deliverables.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Bluebeam, comfortable with technology and producing digital redlines. AutoCAD and/or Revit skills helpful, but not required. 
  • Excellent problem solver and independent thinker with good listening skills, positive attitude and strong follow-through
  • Strong verbal and graphic communication, organizational and collaborative skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in single family homes and low-density attached residential architecture
  • Licensed Architect in the state of Washington. 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without any restrictions or visa sponsorship
