Woods Bagot is hiring a Revit Content Creator to join a global design technology team. The role is to assist the global content creation and template design team in creating and cleaning up Revit families as part of library upgrades and maintenance. Initially this will be a 12-month contracting role, with a potential option to extend.

Key areas of Responsibility

Content creation, upgrading, and auditing

  • Creation of Revit families, focused on North American standards, to expand the current library. New families may be sourced from international metric versions in our current library or created new.
  • Upgrading manufacturers content and upgrading to the W-B standard.
  • Assistance in content creation for our global detail library
  • Modification of existing families with additional meta-data (i.e. classifications)

Personal Competencies

  • Ability and willingness to align with our current Revit system ideology and to assist with the implementation of the existing global content creation team’s vision of what is needed.
  • Must be meticulous in nature and eager to learn new skills.
  • Ability to cope well with highly repetitive tasks.
  • Flexible in work attitude.
  • Familiarity with architectural or design drawings and documentation

Work experience/Technical Skills

  • Some project experience in Revit is required.
  • Experience in other cad related software won’t be needed but may be a suitable starting point if they have been used to document Architectural drawings eg. Archicad or Autocad.
  • Exposure to architecture or technical drawings preferred

Qualifications and Education

  • Technical degree or similar in architecture, engineering, construction. Active students may be considered.


We are flexible regarding the Woods Bagot studio in which you are located. Options include: San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, and remote.
